"Cricket"

Consignment Sale

Quarab (Quarter Horse x Arabian)

Mare - Dark Bay

11 years old - 14.2 hh

Adoption Fee: $800

Details

From the owner:

"Cricket" is a sweet little mare, I purchased her last June from a kill pen and have had her on my farm since then. She is sound and ready to go. She received her spring vaccines and had her teeth floated in May. She was said to be a child's trail horse. She has been ridden a few times here but nothing extensive. She's a little stubborn with a timid rider but does fine with someone with a little experience. She loves attention! Three mares are too many for me and I want to find her a good home with someone that can give her the attention she needs."

Located in Salvisa, Kentucky (not at Snitker Stables). Contact owner Cheryl at (563) 568-7818 for all information and with serious inquiries.

Sold to a wonderful family in Kentucky to be an English and western 4H mount.

"Brego"

Andalusian x Percheron

Gelding - Dark Bay

7 years old - 16.3 hh

Price: $2,200

Details

"Brego" is a special, handsome boy. His sire is an Andalusian show horse and dam an unknown Percheron mare. We are tentatively looking for a FOREVER home for this sweethearted gentle-giant. He was rescued from a bad situation of abuse and neglect several years ago and got a very late start with halter breaking and training. He is very reactive and fearful of new people and situations. He has come a long way since coming to us, he is very comfortable with the saddle and bridle, stands tied/crosstied, fine for the farrier, loves baths, loads, and LOVES grooming and attention. He has a very good mind and learns well but if he feels threatened or pushed too fast he is very reactive. He needs a special situation with a very soft handed and understanding trainer who will commit as much time as possible to him. Be prepared to provide references.

Adopted to the best home we could have imagined for him with an eventer and upcoming trainer in central Kentucky! We will always love you Brego, looking forward to watching you grow and do great things with your forever partner!

He has been an amazing youth lesson and show horse for most of his life. He can be ridden by anyone and is a joy to ride. Mare - Bay

"Rosy" (Haulaway My Rosy) came with our farm when it was purchased because the owner moved out of state. She can live out her days with us but we would rather her go somewhere with a person who just wants a horse to love on. If interested please email with details of your situation, a home will be heavily screened and can only be a friend or recommended home by a friend. Rosy is not for riding, not for breeding, she is great at babysitting other horses, a great pasture buddy, and looooves grooming, eating, and being loving on. She has been started in reinin and rides the exact same no matter how much time off and in a halter, hackamore, bosal, snaffle bit, bareback. Loves to trail ride alone or in a group, leading or following. Scarlett is one of the most enjoyable horses to be around and ride that I have experienced, a special girl.
