Riding Lessons

We offer Western riding lessons for beginners to advanced riders! Whether you have never touched a horse or are wanting to compete in barrel racing we have a horse for you. For riders ages five and up the level of riding depends on how comfortable the individual is with the horse and the goals the rider would like to achieve. We also do pony rides and "horse experience" for children under five.
Beginner riders start with the basics, haltering, grooming, tacking up, lunging, basic horse care, safety around horses.
Advanced riders as well as beginner/intermediate riders (as they gain experience) learn and expand on the fundamentals of natural horsemanship. This can include an emphasis in reining, western pleasure, barrel racing, ranch/cattle work, bareback riding, trail riding and more.
The first lesson for all riders begins with the fundamentals of horses and riding. We will then tailor the lessons to the rider's specific skill set or desire, if a rider loves spending time with the horse on the ground we will spend more time grooming, bathing, etc. If a rider is interested in learning how to train and discovering how a horse's mind works we will spend more time lunging and working in the round pen. If a rider loves time in the saddle we will spend minimal time on the ground and all of our time improving riding skills.
LESSON COST is $35 per hour or $60 for 2 hours
We do not currently have an indoor arena, so our lesson season is from the beginning of spring to the beginning of winter. Typically March - November. If a lesson has to be rescheduled due to weather we will contact riders through email. *18 and under are required to wear helmets, helmet can be provided*
Email us to be a part of our lesson season! Please include your name, age, summary of past horse experience, and area of interest. Please also include how often you would like your lessons to be (multiple times a week, weekly, monthly, etc) and if possible when during the week you would prefer. We will return your email as soon as possible and schedule your first lesson!

We are accepting a very limited number of riders at this time due to our new, smaller location. Please contact us with any questions.
